Man Accidentally Lights His Home On Fire During Livestream

Man Accidentally Lights His Home On Fire During Live Stream

For those of you that do not know, a Live Stream is when you broadcast yourself live on the internet. Its the same thing as watching live TV, except there are usually no professionals. Anyone that can post videos on sites like youtube, can pretty much do a Live Stream. Like live TV, the drawback is that there is no editing. Sure you can edit the video or delete it later, but for the most part; what happens at that moment, gets broadcast at that moment.

Japanese "product reviewer" Yoshihiro Mazda live streams his reviews. Well this particular day he was reviewing some sort of lighter. Most of the video is pretty standard as he (in Japanese) shows the off the lighter and his attempts to use it. For a good portion of the video, you can see him smoking a cigarette as he tries repeatedly to get the lighter to work. As a matter of fact he spends some time being careless with the lighter fluid as he is smoking. The real action begins around the 4 minute and fifty second mark of the video. After filling it with lighter fluid, we are shown exactly why you should not play with fire. Also, we are shown what happens when you get a small fire with someone with no goddamn common sense.

Oh man, where to begin with this guy:

At the five minute mark,  he seems to put something that's on fire in a bag. Well the bag is full of paper. For those who are not advantaged with common sense: paper is flammable. He doesn't even realize it right away. He is too busy with his first fire, which I imagine he was able to turn off. You hear his computer talking to him and saying something? Well, there are programs that vocalize certain comments for live streamers, so that's the people that watch his reviews trying to get him to turn around.

Once he does realize , he moves the bag of paper over and attempts to turn it off with... cardboard... which is of course... flammable.

This guy is a walking disaster, he gets something to smother the flames, which is a good move, but he does it so badly that he actually fans the flames. This guy goes through the list of shit to not do when you have a small fire. This video should be a public service announcement. Play this shit every morning right before Sesame Street.

Unfortunately this may not just be a funny story, from what I read, someone was killed in the fire.

I don't know what the laws are like in Japan, but in the U.S. he would be in a lot of trouble. The fire was clearly an accident, but he is the cause of it and therefore responsible for the fire. This guy shouldn't just be held liable, he should be tarred and feathered. Maybe even branded. I mean, if the Zombie apocalypse goes down and I my group ends up running into dude, I may suggest killing him for the betterment of the group.

I wish I could say there was a way to prevent this, but with people this dumb being able to buy lighters, it was only a matter of time...
